Joe Utz is the technology founder for Orderly. He runs the development, product management, operations and data teams. As chief architect, technical team builder, and product manager, he has been instrumental in delivering the Orderly product to the market.

With over 20 years of experience in building software products, Joe has worked on maintaining massive enterprise software products, driving innovation into software solutions for large retail and restaurant companies, and guiding products from the idea stage to thousands of users daily.

Joe served as the Director of the Workforce Management Products (time and attendance/scheduling and payroll) and the Director of R&D for the Retail and Hospitality industry products at Red Prairie. In this role, Joe built and managed a 50-person development and QA team. His product was used daily by tens of thousands of users of brands such as Walmart, Tesco, YUM Brands and Publix.

Prior to RedPrairie, Joe served in a variety of roles from marketing statistics to development management roles.

Joe graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Marketing and a Masters in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University.
